TEMUCO.- Un insólito y fuerte altercado se registró en esta ciudad entre un dirigente mapuche y la ministra de Mideplán, Clarisa Hardy.

Durante una ceremonia oficial, el consejero mapuche de la Conadi, Hilario Huirilef, expresó duros calificativos hacia la secretaria de Estado al decir que "ella es una ministra absolutamente racista que viene de la izquierda del barrio alto y conoce a los mapuches por libros".

Hardy se descolocó y reaccionó visiblemente afectada y a punto de llorar. Calificó de inaceptable esa descalificación y exigió disculpas públicas a Huirilef por su tono intolerante.

"Soy judía y ese es el insulto más grave que me pueden haber inferido. Mis abuelos tuvieron que escapar de los nazis. Lo que él ha dicho es un insulto a mi familia", dijo Hardy.

La polémica se registró cuando la ministra acudió al lanzamiento en Temuco de la nueva ficha CAS y presidió la constitución de una mesa de trabajo entre el Gobierno regional y la Conadi para las políticas indígenas.

If Brazil is disliked in the world, it only has itself to blame.
